My birthday present this year was a trip to our cabin near Mt. Rainier.
Here we are on our way. We stopped near a river and enjoyed the beauty around us!

Near our cabin, we had easy access to another (or the same?) river. This place was so fun for the girls to play in the sand and run around. The air was so crisp and the sunshine... perfect!
We had such a relaxing time in the cabin, reading and playing board games, that we didn't feel like driving around Rainier or walking the trails this time around. We knew it was going to be raining this day, too, but we still managed to get outside for a bit before the drizzle hit.
On our way home, we stopped at White Pass so the girls and my fun-loving dad could get out and throw snow balls at each other!
