Summer Bliss

Summer has flown by!!
Here are a few pictures to show some the fun things we have been doing this month:

A huge blessing in our lives has been meeting our neighbors right across the street, or front-door neighbors, as I like to say (I heard that that is a phrase NOT used in the US, so I must have picked it up through my internal translator). Olivia is 9, and she gets along beautifully with my girls. Her mom has actually let us bring her along to my parent's house, where they swim, catch tadpoles, and one day, they even got to try out the fishing rods!!

We got to hand out at the Nyman's one day! :)

Visiting Nana and Papa is always fun, especially when you make chocolate-chip cookies together!

Our cat, Millie, had three kittens the day we left for El Salvador, and now they are all ready to be adopted! My girls sure have had fun with them!

It's a Wrap!

Here is a very large hodge podge of our last week in El Salvador:

We saw Ale at a match against a competing team.

We went to the beach again, and had fun finding seashells during the low tide!

Ale had more practice to go to:

We celebrated Gaby's 10th birthday!

Bowling at Galaxy Bowling during a World Cup game!

We went to a Mexican restaurant to watch Columbia vs. Brazil, and celebrated Gaby's big day again! :)

Natalia shows off her proud purchase with her allowance money: a shell necklace!

Cousins rough house again!

We visit the mall to admire the fountain, take a ride in the train, and eat at MD again, where there is beautiful air conditioning as the kids play to their heart's content!

Cousin Love!

We visit the local zoo!!

Celebrate Edwin's big 40 with family, friends, great food!

Visit Tin Marin for another day of exploring!

Visit with the Barillas family, whom we were so excited to see again!!

Take family pictures before the final good-bye.

Edwin took a shot of Natalia at our layover in Houston. She is admiring her use of the chopsticks. ;)
