Spokane

We needed to take Natalia to an ear/nose/throat specialist in Spokane, so we decided to make a weekend out of it, to be able to get some time in together before the girls and I took off on our road trip without Edwin.  The Carrousel was a major hit.... along with other nearby attractions: the wagon slide, the blocks, the geese.... :)

We got to visit Cat Tales as well, although the fake animals were more entertaining than the live ones....

Especially this rooster, for some reason..... Tory loved it and kept going back to it.

We were able to meet up with my cousin and his family, too, which was a blast! The second cousins had so much fun together! :)

By the last day, the Carrousel had pretty much lost its charm for me.... I wonder how many days it would take for the girls....

I was surprised by the amount of entertainment gained from this simple water feature coming out of a metallic piece of art.  I should have known to change them into their swimsuits for this dip in the water.

Hope to see you again soon, Spokane! :)

End of the Year Recital

We had our usual end of the year music class, and it was ever fun!! This year we had a new element, however: Tory played her first recital! :)  She was adorable! So excited! She knew Nana and Papa, Grandma and Grandpa, and we would all be there to watch her play some songs she had been learning all year.  When Ms. Linnea asked who wanted to go first, she shot her had up, and practically leaped from her seat to get to the piano bench.  She played her three songs very well. We are so proud of her, and happy she is enjoying this so! :)  Unfortunately, I cannot load long videos on here, so I can't post her actual playing... :(

"Summer" Nights

A couple nights, during this nice weather, the girls wanted to play outside before bedtime. . . it was so cute watching them . . . they were dancing and running back and forth, enjoying the setting sunshine.  We got some cute videos, but they won't upload . . . only a very short one.  Too bad, because one in particular is so loved, the girls watch it over and over again . . . Tory is singing "Mary had a little Lamb", and Natalia is following her around, pretending to be the lamb.  She "baa"s in a way that gets the girls rolling when they watch it.

This was the day before she pulled her tooth. . . . you can see it is just barely hanging in there....
